Often, the customer will also rent space in In-Line Amplification (ILA) huts which allow for the regeneration of signals that a customer supports using their own Optical Line System (OLS) equipment.  These ILA huts are positioned so that a customer can build multi-Gigabit, or even Terabit per second (Tbps) networks over direct, resilient, and protected Right-of-Way routes.
